Requirement of Canadian Visa for Travelling

Most foreign nationals require a visa to conduct a tour in Canada. However, citizens of the following countries don't need a visa to enter Canada:

In addition to above, citizens of around 60 countries are visa-exempt to travel to Canada.

Duration of Stay in any Canadian City

Typically, you can stay in Canada for up to 6 months. However, if the purpose of your visit is to work or study, holding a tourist visa will not work. You will need a work visa to do a job in Canada and a temporary resident visa or study visa to study in Canada.

Securing Peace of Mind with Canada Travel Insurance

Buying travel insurance to conduct a Canadian tour is not mandatory but is suggested. Travellers must understand that unfortunate incidents can happen anytime during the trip. In such a scenario, travel insurance holders will receive financial assistance, which will help them tackle unexpected medical emergencies during the trip. Some travel insurances also cover tourists' expenses due to flight cancellations or delays.

Bringing Your Pet Along

Applicants can also enter Canada along with their pets (dogs and cats). However, they will need a signed and dated certificate from their veterinarian proving that the pets are up-to-date on rabies vaccinations. Kindly note that pets under three months old need no certification.

Bringing Firearms into Canada

Foreign nationals can carry firearms in Canada for safety purposes. However, the gun must be licensed, and its owner must submit the Non-Resident Firearm Declaration form to notify the immigrant authorities. After that, they will receive a temporary license valid for 60 days. Kindly note that individuals with a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) also have to inform the airport authorities that they are travelling with a firearm.
